Bristol’s accomplished chamber choir Exultate Singers is joined by professional orchestra The Lochrian Ensemble to perform a programme of music marking the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War.

The programme includes Herbert Howells' exquisitely beautiful unaccompanied setting of the Requiem, and Gerald Finzi's moving and intense Requiem da Camera. The choir gives the first concert performance of Francis Grier’s Death be not proud, a setting of words by John Donne, written for the choir of Ely Cathedral for Remembrance Day 2014.
