Bristol’s accomplished chamber choir, Exultate Singers present their unique contribution to St George's Art of Flight festival with a host of choral pieces from across the centuries.

The choir flies high in an eclectic programme that contrasts vivid settings of words from the psalms and madrigals inspired by insects and birds with exciting contemporary pieces describing the soaring and excitement of aeroplanes and the freedom that flight brings. The concert also includes the first performance of Dancing Star by Toby Young, a choral celebration of dancing in all its forms, from the innocent simplicity of folk dancing to the gentle elegance of high society ballroom, finishing with a nod to the urban nightclub.

The music will be illustrated by projected images on the screen behind the choir to create a wonderfully vivid combination of words, music and pictures.
