Join Exultate Singers and leading Welsh harpist Eira Lynn Jones for a captivating musical journey around the British Isles. This richly varied programme pairs grand choral masterpieces from the past with lyrical contemporary works and beautifully crafted arrangements of traditional songs from the British Isles, including music from the Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly.

The centrepiece of the concert is Thomas Tallis’ extraordinary and spellbinding 40-part motet, Spem in Alium, sung around the balconies of St George’s Bristol, enveloping audience members in a surround sound experience.

Other highlights include the setting of Ubi caritas by the Welsh composer Paul Mealor, written for the marriage of the Prince and Princess of Wales in 2011, and Ben Parry’s vibrant setting of the popular Irish tune, Star of the County Down.

Experience the unique character, culture, and spirit of each nation brought vividly to life through exceptional choral music.
